Ken Peek is the author of the book The Observer: Letters from the Oklahoma Territory. Kenneth is an old west and American west history buff esp. the homesteading of western frontier of Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Indian Territory as we moved westward with Manifest destiny. Each letter from a homesteader like Wessel and Scow in areas like Frederick, Lawton, and Great Plains tells the story of the great plains and the Oklahoman and Nebraskan frontiers, The land rush, land lottery, and more are retold in this historian's books of the American west and its western frontier.
